Having worked as a consultant and manager in the assessment and recruitment industries for 20 years, Phil has set up ACP to help people maximise their chances of success when faced with an assessment centre for a key job. Phil uses his experience as an assessment professional to inform your own development plans.
His experience includes leading large scale assessment projects in the public and private sectors. For example, assessment centres to fill over 1,000 operational roles for a government agency, fast track leaders for a major blue chip service organisation and store managers for a retail chain. He has also designed and led senior management assessment and leadership development programmes for manufacturing organisations, City and Borough Councils and health care trusts.
After gaining a business degree, in his early career Phil worked as consultant and branch manager with an engineering and sales recruitment consultancy. He moved into search and selection for executive roles while being personally mentored in objective selection approaches and gaining his BPS level B in Occupational Testing. Since then until setting up ACP he has focused on assessment for high volume and senior management roles.
